St Mary Moorfields Wedding, East London

This wedding was just a delight from start to finish.  The wedding had been meticulously thought out but executed in a way that felt completely natural and organic.  This started with Jo being chauffeured to tucked away St Mary Moorfields church in a Premier Padmini Indian taxi.  Then after the beautiful service in one of my favourite London churches we jumped in the same car that took us to The Yard — via a brief stop at Leadenhall Market for some couple photos.  The Yard itself is a large imposing warehouse space that could easily have remained imposing.  Instead it was cleverly split into three sections — drinks, dining and dancing — and worked perfectly.  Drinks were champagne and gin & tonics with barber pole straws, and the dining experience was catered by the Disappearing Dining Club.  If that wasn’t enough refreshments were provided by Lick Me Delicious and their line of liquid nitrogen ice-creams — which are just absurdly good.  At the end of my time (job feels like the wrong word) I wondered out from The Yard feeling really buoyed by the whole day.  And promptly got lost.

Headpieces designed and made by Jo herself.
